| The trip to Mt. Lemmon takes about 2 hours from Green Valley. About the easiest way to get there is to go North on I-19 and take the Sahuarita Road, exit 75, East for several miles until you come to Houghton Road. There's a stop sign at the intersection, and the road is well marked, so you shouldn't miss it. If you do miss the turnoff, enjoy your stay in Las Cruces! | ||
Turn left (North)
on Houghton Road. As you can see from the photo, Houghton Road doesn't carry a lot of traffic. This is also an excellent way to travel to any place in the East end of Tucson. Stay on Houghton Road until you reach the Catalina Highway. Turn Right (Northeast) and follow the signs towards Mt. Lemmon. |
