The Nature Trail (Part 3)

You turn to the East past the tennis court, and stop in the shade under a Palo Verde tree to admire the view. The trail so far has taken you higher in elevation. It looks all downhill from here.

Along the way, you can't help turning back to look at one of the "quads." Italian Cypress pierce the blue sky.

You cross Camino Holgado again and continue East.   The dry wash with new rock stands ready for the Summer rains. The Santa Rita mountain range is impressive.

The trail meanders along a high bank. You glance downward so as not to stumble on a loose rock. You stop for awhile under another Palo Verde to check out the mountains.   They're still there...

A stone wall separates you and the high bank. You hesitate. You don't really want to be forced to walk down into the dry wash.   Then you see it. The passage way through the wall. Your pace quickens.   You continue walking East.
